Anyone else have their avatar go missing today?

I've been using it for probably a year so I dont think there was a problem with it.

It disappeared too late in the day for me to reupload it.

Guess I'll have to wait till next month.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

    I finally switched from the colts to my Roosevelt I've been wanting to use for MONTHS!!! About 30 min after I uploaded it, it was gone. image

    Was it your, self loaded, icon or one you borrowed? It it was borrowed, the original owner may have deleted it from thier image hosting service.

    Definitely a possibility. Happened to me on a different forum once.

    Self loaded from hard drive onto PCGS server. I had it happen a few months ago also on upload day. That time it happened early in the day and I just reupped it. Hadnt had any more problems till yesterday.

    I had this happen last year. I asked Carol and she didn't remember nuking it. So, there is likely something buggy in their system

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Did you have Russ Upload it for you? I know he said he was placeholding one, but he converted back to his the same day, you have to keep it for at least a couple days if you upload it for someone else.

    I had two new icons graciously uploaded by forum members (since my Mac is evidently not compatible with the PCGS system) - one 'stuck', the other disappeared and is now a small red X.

    CCU - if someone else uploads an icon for you I believe they have to keep it as their icon for at least 1 day, otherwise it will disappear even if the real "owner" changes their icon to the new one. At least that has been my experience when I've uploaded icons for others.

    OK the gods have spoken (indirectly I guess)

    My avatars gone missing again.

    Ran it for over a year with no problems now its gone missing two months in a row. I'm gonna take that as a sign.

    Guess I can use my wife's license plate for next Avatar even though I really like my plates. Instead of ST*U it reads STHU... the more family friendly version image

    Dont really get it since I've seen ST*U typed in response to people comments several times on the forum. Guess the typed version isnt as bad as the photo one? image
