How come if it had a buy it now for $800 the coin should have been sold. Why has the coin been bid up? I dont get it.

The item specifics description lists it as a VG-8. I dare say that a VG-8 is what the high bidder will receive.

That is one strange auction and seller. He used a stolen photo, has only 80% positive feedback, his first as well as his second (revised) description is incoherent, and of the 7 feedback he's accrued as a seller since Jan. 2006, 2 are negatives and 1 is a neutral. Oh, and someone ostensibly bought it for $295,000.? I think not!!
