Hall of Fame Parade today in Midtown

I was running and errand and right on 6th Avenue there was a parade of All-Stars coming by in cars - I stopped for about 15-20 minutes and saw all of these Hall of Famers pass about 10 feet away - I saw Bob Feller (he looked good for a 90 year old), Brock, Gibson, Sandberg, Reggie Jackson, Gossage, Brett, Boggs (nice hairpiece), Gwynn (gained a lot of weight), Yogi, Whitey, Lefty, Kaline, Sutter, Fingers (with his mustache), Niekro, Winfield, Marichal, McCovey (it was really hot so he was inside his car), Kiner, Robin Roberts, Palmer, Earl Weaver, Molitor - that's the most Hall of Famers I've seen in one place...I had my digital camera, but it was hard to get good unobstructed shots.

I heard it was going to be a parade of this year's All Stars but didn't know that would have some all-time greats. I will upload some pictures later tonight...

However, I definitely missed a few (where I managed to get the security person instead of the player)...

I actually work in Rockefeller Center right next to Radio City and happened to be outside and saw the crowds so I decided to take a look. A few weeks ago I saw the USA Olympic Team where the rink is in the winter. Of course the time before that I saw the girls from Sex in the City...

I saw that Joe Morgan was in the parade, I wonder why he wasn't on the field for the opening ceremonies.
