Southside Chicago card shops

Does anyone recall a great card shop from the 1970's and later that was in the vicinity of 36th and Western Avenue. The building was old and the store looked old. No frills inside other than old black & whites, trophies, old mitts and bats and hundreds of great cards I had only seen in books before. The owners were a couple of hobby legends (Don Steinbach?). They later moved their store to Lagrange Road (80's). Are they still in business?
I remember going there in 1980. I had always liked the look of the 1969 Mantle and had never owned any Mantle card. I went in with about $20 (15 years old at the time) and asked if they had a 1969 Mantle --- owner went to the back, pulled out a draw (similar to an 800 ct box but witout a lid) and proceeded to lay 16 copies of the Mantle across the counter, like a magician do a card trick. All cards were priced the same - $11. After a few minutes of looking for the sharpest corners, without any concern for centering, I walked out with a piece of cardboard that would be graded a PSA 8 o/c ------ 21 years later.
What a great time
