Some Stolen Brit Coins Headed To Texas

I am in the Washington DC area and my ex has headed to Texas with some of my coins, fortunately NOT many of value but wanted to post on this board the Missing In Action (abbreviated):

1 - ex-Spink 2001 Auction DeSaulles own set of Obverse patterns in silver - Great Britain and Colonial obverses. This mounted in a custom frame in Alexandria, VA and the coins are mounted on the original grey/silver felt backing now framed. These are the 55 mm size and the GB has a test discoloration just below the ear.

2 - Not valuable but GEF specimens of 1838 and 1839 currency farthings

3 - 1877 EF half sov.

4 - Not GB, but Franklin Mint 1970-1984 mint sets with a few proof sets of Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands,Guyana, Jamaica, Papua NG, Phillipines, Solomon Islands, Trinidad.

5 - 1968 -1970 Original FAO Notebook which was complete and full.

6 - Numerous numismatic correspondances dating back some 10 or more years.

7- United States Gold: 1910 S $10 ~MS 61/62 in 2x2 and loose 1911 S and 1913 ~EF Indian $5

Well, these are some markers and if anyone hears of them in the Houston, Dallas, or Tyler areas please let me know and thanks for your help.

PS Does anybody know the contact info for main coin clubs in Dallas, Houston, or Tyler?

Any particular reason why she chose these ones?

If she has the legal right to keep them, I'm afraid that the gold might have already been sold. image

JCM - Thank you. The DeSaulles pattern is ex-Spink Patina Lot #1045 which is the one thing that I really want back from all this. I will contact the folks you have referred me to.

I think there's possible another coin club round here too as well as the others already mentioned... I'd suggest looking in the online yellow pages for coin shops in the cities you think they may be headed to then phoning them to alert them. Maybe offer a reward / ask them to phone the police if they arrive. The gold's pretty anonymous but the rest should stick out to anyone with a heads up.

I hope you get them back.
