40 Miles of Pennies valued at $37,000 for charity great story.

I missed my buds on here. I got bad news my condo fees are going up another 4 percent. Fort Myers Beach looked like a ghost town. Bottle nosed Dolphins are swimming within 4 feet of the beach and with the high condo taxes and loss at the dog tracks I needed to come home and unwind before I posted this story. Maybe someone already did and can bring up the linky.

Was watching the tube news the other night and saw somewhere a group of people made a 40 mile track of pennies, after counted was worth about $37,000 for a local charity not bad huh.

Oh btw, I did get in later this day, my family and I got 4 rt tickets to anywhere in the USA for giving up our seats on Airtran, just had to wait another 2 hrs, then lay over at Alanta for another 3 hrs, then on home. Bought my tickets back in Feb/08 for $69 each way and now scored on a 4 pack of Round trippers. Anyone ever got lucky like this?

Nice to be back home.

done ya wonder how many "wide AM', 84 double ears, 72 DDO's, Weaties, Indians, coins heisted from pops collection etc etc etc....were in that mix?

I get this uncontrollable urge to check dates when I see something like that.

Three million seven hundred thousands coins, shouldn't take too long to search through them.

Thats almost TOO funny, isnt it?

My favorite Lincoln Statistic is that if you stacked all the lincolns ever minted (nearly a half trillion) they would reach to the moon and nearly all the way back.
