did you get any homerun balls?
  • Not too bad - they charge $9.50 for 20 ounces of Bud Lite for regular season games (or $9.50 for 12 ounces of Beck by the can) - nothing new here.

Going price in NYC bars is $5-6 for a pint at a non-hip bar.

  • I couldn't believe the prices of the drinks in Little Italy in NYC...the worse part was, that I didn't know until the bill came...

The worst part about prices for beer at the ballpark is that you are getting watered down beer. I can't remember the exact numbers, but ballpark beer usually has something like 1 to 1.5% less alcohol than the same beer you'd get at the store or at a bar. It's supposed to help keep the fans in line.

I had great seats for watching, not for catching any balls

$5-$6 dollars in your mom's basement, not in any establishment...

btw Yankee stadium the beers cant be watered down, they come from those big plastic bottles 22oz right from Bud...

Fandango, you may be right, but I heard on the Jim Rome show a few years back that it is the brewing companies themselves that water down the beer, not the ballparks. In other words, Anhueser-Busch (now InBev) makes special ballpark batches with lower alcohol content. Like I said, I could be wrong and that may just apply to beers on tap, but that's what I've heard.
