I also must say that the double standards are crazy in this world.....a baseball player can be a known cocaine, heroin and alcohol addict, and is applauded for his sobriety. While, I have seen first hand the mistrust and skepticism that people place on a common addict, even after becoming sober.

I'm not saying that Josh is a horrible guy, but how many of you would feel this way if it was a regular old guy in your neighborhood? Would you want your kids to idolize him if you took the bat out of his hands?

ive got friends and relatives who've gone through what he went through; some come out better, some never change. Tough to see them go through it and you always hope for the best. An outsider would definitely view folks like that with a great deal of skepticism.
