Baseball room

here is a link to the baseball room at my parents house. if you go to 'game room' on the videos that is the baseball room. we put this stuff up around 84' time frame. I get back once every couple years and dust things off and straighten the photos out.

at the time the walls were sectioned off with signed items grouped by -

hall of famers

retired but not in the hall of fame

2 sections of current players

1 section of multi player signed items

the part going down the stairs had Phillies items and Brooks Robinson. we had went to spring training that year and got a lot of phillies stuff signed and living in MD Brooks used to sign everywhere for free

not showing in the video is a small office in the corner which was the card room
we used to have a lot of signed baseballs on upper shelves - spot lights shining right on them. many browned over the years and some held up perfectly.

house is being sold so it's all being taken down.baseball room video

Nice looking room. I sure there were a lot of great memories there. What are doing with the all the stuff? Also, what were some of the better cards in the office area? Hopefully, most of the stuff will stay within the family.

thanks. not too many high value individual cards...late 70's/early 80's so we weren't looking at condition back then but would do the flea markets and pick up some Mantle's etc but off grade. room now is filled with mostly topps/fleer/donruss from early 80's. not sure when I'll have time but I'll need to make a trip back east to bring some items back. will sell the rest as my parents don't want it anymore.
