It is not listed in the Charlton book on Canadian tokens. I think MrPotatoHeadd has got it right. Unfortunately I do not own either the Withers or Davis books on 18th century tokens. Some day - both books are fairly expensive.

Essex, Walthamstow, Withers 630-633, depending on leaves and acorns counted. Scarce to RRR. And yes, an issue of the British Copper Company from sometime between 1811 and 1820.
