Question for non-certified autograph collectors

does anybody collect autos through the mail ? and if so how do u get started in this ? how do you obtain addresses to write to a player ? i know u can send mail to a current player through the team itself but what about retired players ? ive read many things online about how people have found great success doing this but keep hitting dead ends on getting started on this - any help would be great - thanks

I collect off and on. I also collect actors/actresses, so www.startiger.com is what I use. Cost $5 a month, or about $35 per year, but its probably worth at least a 1 month try. The Tour is very good. give it a look.
Looking to have some custom cuts or plain custom cards built? PM me.

  • sportscollectors.net is a great site. It is addictive that's for sure. And I would say stick with retired players if you want a decent shot at getting anything back. The modern guys don't have a great track record.
  • thanks for the tips guys - appreciate the help !
