Out of the US, out of Mind?

Roy Halladay is a stud in an era of prima donna pitchers. I mean, 7 complete games so far this year? There was a time when that was no big deal. It's flat out amazing now though.

yeah, the guy is a horse...he's been a staple of my fantasy teams the last 3 years, I was always able to get him late 2nd or early 3rd round...usually after 3-4 other SPs were already picked.

I agree wholeheartedly that Halladay is a superb pitcher and is the Cy Young frontrunner, but it's way too early to tell who's gonna win. Many a surging pitcher at the all-star break has fallen back to the pack, either due to injury, fatigue, or just plain ineffectiveness. That said, I hope he does win it. He's stood out for a long time now as a very good pitcher in a period defined by mediocre pitching.

Nah, Joba Chamberlain, Ian Patrick Kennedy and Phil Hughes will be the three finalists for the Cy Young.
