I get to watch the Cardinals every night. I was wondering why Rick Ankiel is not a bigger story. He just hit his 20th HR of the year. This guy used to be a pitcher, for goodness sake. I'm just wondering why nobody is talking about it.
(I know, I am expecting the "HGH" comments).

Whatever happened to Todd Stoddlemeyer? Maybe he should become a power hitter too!

<< <i>Ankiel = Babe Ruth for the 21st century !!! >>
Obviously you were kidding. Ankiel is not even as good of a hitter as Ruth was a pitcher. And we know how the Ruth as a hitter vs. Ankiel as a pitcher comparison would shake out.
