Ebay raw card sellers. Does this happen to you

I havent sold much raw vintage on ebay but I keep getting this question. "What do you think that card would be graded by PSA?"

To me thats a opinon I am no comfertable making but I did anyway and was very honest with the cars condition. Anyone ever get these questions?

    Cory,
I am never "Comfertable" either, especially about the "cars" condition. Did you start hitting the Cold ones before me???

I very rarely sell raw stuff, BUT I just say, "I dunno," if anybody asks me what PSA would say.

wowser when did PSA start grading cars have a 72 datsun 240z I need graded. how much do they charge.

In all seriousness when I do sell raw cards and get a question like that, I always say: "probably a 5,6 or 7" cause if I thought it had a chance at an PSA 8, I would send the card myself . Now let's get down to some serious drinking image

Occasionally. I'll take a guess but tell them I can't guarantee anything.

yes, and I feel the same way. I explain the condition as best I can and tell them I am in no way a professional grader.

I've gotten the question once. It was for a 1972 John Riggins #13 RC that I listed as NM. I told the buyer that it could possibly be considered an 8, but I thought it would likely grade a 7. He bought it for $11 and about a month later told me that he sent it to SGC where it graded an 8.5! Ouch.
