If anyone cares or is interested, i have done a lot of deals with this seller with my 57 set. He bought and sold from me many times. If i remember right about a year ago he said he had health problems and was selling cards. I would trust this guy if thats your concern Jeff

The seller was a huge pain in my side for quite a while a few years ago. If he saw a card on ebay that he wanted, he was going to get it no matter what. He outbid me on so many cards, it was rediculous!
That being said, he seems to me to be a reputable guy
Now that we have established that he is honest I'm wondering how competent he is. trying to sell a $10,000 set with no pictures and only showing one card at a time. I'm worried I would get a scorpion in a box if I bought something from this guy.

After checking his past dealings with both heavy-hitter buyers and sellers that I personally have also done business with, I would have no problem bidding or buying from him either.

That's all well and good, but why limit your buyers to those who "know" him?

Who knows? Maybe he just prefers to do so. Doesn't make a ton of sense, but to him it might.
I think he's just confident, from past experiences, that his auctions will bring the prices he expects .... and if they don't, they don't.

Could be, but a note stating so would be nice.

Here's his reply .... what cards do you have in mind?
I replied .... how about the Eckersley, Brett, Rose, and Aaron?
He replied ... just pick one!

It's just odd not to post at least one pic.
