Question for Yankees fans about game tickets

We are making a trip to NY in August to see a game at Yankee Stadium before it's leveled. I've never been to one there and I'm looking forward to my wife and I spending 5 days in the city. We are actually going to try to catch a Mets game also. I purchased Yankee tickets on StubHub, everything is fairly pricey. I think we have decent tickets, but I wanted to get confirmation from any Yankee fans that know the stadium well.
Our seats are: Main Reserved MVP Section M9/ Row: B/ Seats 17 & 18. I hope we aren't sitting behind a large steel beam or underneath a drain. I appreciate any feedback. thanks.

  • Looks pretty decent to me.

Just click on the section for the view. I believe your section is on the first base side a few sections up.

I'm pretty sure you're just on the right side of home plate about half-way up the stadium. No beams or abstructions. Just got back from NY last week and our seats were a section away from yours.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help. Don't know how I missed the seating link on the Yankees website, very helpful.

  • The only problem you are going to have is that because you are in row B throughout the
game you are going to find fans and concession workers walking in front of you the
whole game. It may have been better to be back a few rows in row d, e, or f.
However, in my opinion at least you are downstairs and not in the upper deck.
I always like to be closest to the action when I sit in an arena or stadium.
