If you collect Current Players, come in...

Is there anyone else out there that like to collect all the superstars, but still don't have even one of a certain player, but they
plan on getting something, once they find something "they like"?

I usually like to collect a rare rookie, and one auto or other card of every superstar.

I have yet to find a Jeter to add to my PC. I have had a few, but have sold them for various reasons...

His goudey auto looks nice, but since I dumped the product, and not really a fan of odd sized cards, i sold it too.
He doesn't really have any rare rookies, so I doubt i will add one of those, unless i can find a psa/dna rookie auto.
He doesn't sign too much to begin with, and I just haven't seen any autos I like.
I would probably add his Little Sun auto, but the only one that sells them is some turd who hoarded them all and asks outrageous prices.
The search continues...

  • If you are referring to only active players, I collect Arod cards. Have over 500 different raw, graded and GU'd cards. The only auto I have is on a OML baseball that was obtained in person by my wife after a Rangers game. If you have ever tried to get an Arod auto in person, you know how rare this is. With his current personal issues, I find it funny to add that my wife was wearing a bikini top and a skirt when she got the auto. Wonder how she got it?
  • I try to aquire any Brewers cards since I'm a Brewers fan. So depending on your definition of "superstar," I would include Braun, Fielder, Sheets, and newly aquired CC (at least for this year, lol). Other than that, I always pick out current superstars when I get them. Who collects no-names unless they're a fan of the team as a whole?
