  • I can't, in good conscience, ignore the 1892. Consider it sold. I am also having extreme difficulty with the 1893....OK, conscience won, please mark the1893 sold, also. Respectfully, John Curlis

  • You are astute again, with the added observation that sympathy this time included feeling sorry for myself for not having the money to purchase the 08 and 02S, because 'the evil one' bought a new refrigerator this past week, unknown to me of course. I assume she wants to try modern technology to freeze the snakes on her head, so she doesn't have to keep curling them. Respectfully, John Curlis

Thanks again, John for the sale.

I thought I'd try and sell my duplicates
on the BST before consigning them to
    auction.

Anyone else interested ? Please PM me.

    Thanks !

Broadstruck...Get rid of the 1898-O Broadstruck Barber Half in NGC 58 you own
and send it to me and I'll be a happy camper.

    Like, that'll ever happen...

Face Value plus 5% huh ? If the 5% is payable in MS 65 Liberty Nickels...then maybe...image

TTT - Last chance on the BST -

After I saw the results of Dogwood's auction that ended last night,
I've decided to try eBay - and these coins will be listed tonight.

FYI: Dogwood's 1896-O Half in PCGS 50 languished on the BST for weeks
at a BIN of $1100. Well, Ladies and Gents, it closed for $1,922.99 last night.

    Congrats again, Dennis !!

The 01-S is on a BIN / BO - careful Dennis...

The 02-S & the 08-P are opening at $.99 and each have a BIN.

I don't have the holdered image of the 97-S - so I have to scan it
which won't be until Tuesday - then I'll put that one up on eBay.

Thanks, Dave, for the link to the auctions.

No offers on the 01-S yet which sort of surprises me.

The others are plugging along okay for this stage of the bidding.

Well I sold a double struck 1971-D Lincoln on Ebay for on offer of $225 shipped, a coin which I paid Joe O'conner $100 shipped for.

That's a nice profit... yet mentally it didn't seem like enough! image
