Anyone collect variations/parallels?

I know that Billripkencollector does this with the 2005 Russell Martin Bowman parallels but I wanted to know if anyone else is working on something like this and if so, show some pictures!

I'm working on something a little smaller, the 2007 Topps Cosigners Scott Kazmir/Carl Crawford parallel set. The highest numbered card is out of 299 and they eventually work their way down to the 1/1. I unfortunately missed out on the 1/1 because it went for A LOT more than I thought it would ($30+).

There are 13 cards total (counting the 1/1's) and so far I have completed the "silver set". Now I just need to complete the base color variation set, along with the "Hyper Silver" set.
Here's what I have so far.....

Silver Gold/125, Silver Blue/150, Silver Bronze/175, Silver Red/199, Base Bronze/275

  • I was also doing it wish these. But I ran into a few pricey packs with Bill on top and need more $$ for my 1/1 Martin, so I'm working on selling them. I had more than this too !!

My advice. You'll regret not having the 1/1 later. Hopefully It will pop back up. I was selling stuff to buy the Martin BIN for around $250 and someone got it before me. Now a few years later, I'm buying it off him for around $800-1k. ? Maybe start another set and get the 1/1 1st?
