I went on a Dark Knight hunt last night. Apparently the word is out in Athens, GA....

-I went to Wal-Mart 1 and they had a few of the regular Batman Movie Masters...but those are not selling for a premium, so I left them. 2 other racks of empty Movie Masters.
-Went to Target...no Movie Masters...or even empty shelves where movie masters once stood. Bought an a pack of assorted baseball cards and a rice cooker/steamer. Mmmmmmm.
-Went to Academy Sports on a whim...bought some baseball cards and top loaders.
-Trucked over to Toys R Us....lot's of Dark Knight stuff...no Movie Masters. Did see some 40 Year Old Virgin buying up all the Incredible Hulk stuff though. They had a Wii...almost bought it for $250, but didn't think I could profit more than $40 bucks of off it on Ebay.
-Going on 2 hours into the hunt, I asked the wife if she would like to make a night of it and head to the other side of town.
-Headed to Wal-Mart 2. Empty shelves where Movie Masters once hung. Bought nothing.
-Headed to K-Mart. Walking in, I was greeted with a big sigh that this was MY Dark Knight Headquarters! Sweet...looked at the Batman stuff...no Movie Masters. I bought a box of assorted old packs of cards including a 1986 Topps pack and 1992 Upper Deck pack and 1988 Donruss pack. Best cards was an 88 Donruss Roberto Alomar Rated Rookie...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........
-11:00pm...headed home to cook some rice.....
