i hope your not digging in the grass with a shoval. using a shoval and not filling holes will ruin it for everyone. if you expect to find old stuff your gonna have to dig all the modern stuff as well.

Oh, I don't dig grassy yards often-- I worry too much about ruining something.

  • Sheesh...you always refill a hole! no matter where you are or who owns the land...no excuse..Throwing away coins you find, only to find them again, or basically leaving them there is terrible......You would be wise to take down that video....you insult the rest of us with that attitude...I can't imagine anyone here agreeing with your actions.

You need to rethink this! Keep what you dig. That goes for junk metal ALSO!!!
It is not a good feeling to find the SAME coin/junk that others have left behind.

Even in a dirt plowed field---push the dirt back into the hole. I fill in holes at the beach. It just looks better.

Make another video. It can help others get it the right way.

Maybe what you really need is a new Hobby.

ALWAYS fill your holes even if your digging on the moon. It takes a couple seconds to push the dirt back into the hole and step it down.
Did you ever think that detecting was not allowed in the park because someone before you didn't fill thier holes?

One other thing......In the last six years I've dug over $250 in pennies and nickels.

Digging in park grass! I don't know if I can do that. I worry I'd too much about damage. What kind of tool is that?

Great Videos. Check out #2 untitled. They show how they fill the holes so they are undetectable.
