Cleveland Indians stink.

Hello Everyone,

I am a die hard fan of the Cleveland Indians, I have been my whole life. I am at the point where I am so fed up of my team ALWAYS trading anyone they have ever had good away. I was wondering, how do you get your voice heard so the dumb heads at the corporate office can hear one tiny measly fan's opinion on the team?

Anyone other Indian fans here ready to kick the bucket for the 'ol Tribe?

when fans don't show up at the ballpark, it sends a message...unless you are a Marlins fan, they never show up.

I haven't checked to see how the average MLB team's revenue stream breaks down, but I would think you'd have to do much more than stop going to games for your discontent to actually register with ownership and management: quit tuning in, quit supporting sponsors, quit buying licensed products, etc.

    Sincerly,

The front office did a good job. You guys were going to lose Sabathia anyway. You got a good outfielder in return plus others.
Look at what Minnesota got for Johann Santana. Both the Twins and Indians knew they couldn't resign these guys. C.C. should be pitching in pinstripes next year.

I think it was a great move. To be this upset as a Cleveland fan, you need to read up on Matt Laporta. The Brewers gave you their #1 prospect for a 3 month chance at success.
  • die hard Tribe fan here and the Indians did quite well with CC. He never stepped up in the Post season and he wants more than 18 million a year. Ill pass. They have good young pitchers in the minors and Laporta is exactly what the Indians need. OFFENSE. Grady will be or should be hitting in the 3 slot and with a healthy Victor and Pronk the offense will be fine. Superb trade for the Indians and good for the Brewers for taking a stab at going all the way!

p.s. If the Indians had gotten a Veteran pitcher or bat last trade deadline they very well could have gone to the world series.

This is veering slightly off topic, but how confident are Indians fans (and fantasy owners) that Victor Martinez and Travis Hafner can come back healthy? I held Hafner all last year and he really underproduced. I expected a comeback season this year and he's been just as bad. V-Mart was good last year, but his complete power outage this year has me scratching my head. What's going on with these guys and can the Indians really ink them in as "Offense" in the future?

Victor will be fine. Hafner is another story....I'd give him until the end of this season to get back into his '06 form. If he fails to do so, he needs to go.

At this point they might as well get Bonds and let him DH for the rest of the year.

Please rename this thread "The Cleveland Indians quest for last place"

    They are horrid!

No bullpen, no hitting, no stability in the field. Just bad.

I've got to believe that the coaching staff is going to get shaken up this off season.
