BEST REGIONAL SET OF THE YEAR: Anthony N. (Griffins) - 1958 Dodgers Bell Brand Baseball.

    I would like to congratulate nam as well for winning the award for top 90s non-sports set. The 1991 Star Pics All My Children set is a bear to put together in PSA 9.

    Thanks for all the nice comments guys.

    I had a few of the cards in this set when I collected in the mid '70's. When I started collecting in '00 this was one of the first sets I went after. Cimoli and Snider are very tough, Reese and Podres only a bit less so. Being large cards and relatively thin stock (not to mention subject to potato chip stains) makes them very condition sensitive. Despite being a small set it's pretty tough. It's not nearly as visually appealing as the '60-62 Bell Brand sets, but considerably tougher, and I'm glad to see the issue get a bit of recognition.

    Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

    Very nice mention....PSA 9 for those toughies are very, very low pop I would guess. lol
