Proof Gold Dollars:
1879 G$1 PR63Cameo PCGS - Remember what David Hall once said about proof gold collectors? Here's your chance to join that elite group. This choice proof is totally original with plenty of original skin, yet is fully cameoed with a strong cameo contrast. Minimally hairlined and without a contact mark. There is, however, a visible planchet flaw in the shape of a line that runs through a small portion of the lower left obverse field. Most proof gold dollars come with some sort of a planchet defect, which in turn are ideal indicators of pedigree for any particular coin. An affordable "ticket" for admittance to that special society of classic proof gold collectors. -- $5450.00
