Cal Ripken 3000 hit Tkt

Was this a good deal because he misspelled the name or is it not worth that much?

not a horrible deal in that grade but these tickets are plentiful as the Twins sold them to the general public after the fact

Can you get better than a PSA 10?

obviously not, but since the majority of the tickets in the market were never handled by fans who were actually at the game, a 10 shouldn't be that hard to find

I actually have 2 of these tickets, both graded 10s. Fleer inserted many of these tickets into some of their products a few years back. I'll sell one of mine for $50+s/h also. - Mark

Un-handled tickets get dinged the same ways unopened cards do, it just happens.

A PSA 10 Ripken ticket is a great find -- and I think you got it at a fair price.

I went to a show last year and one dealer had stacks (dozens and dozens) of the tickets in PSA 10 grade.
SMR value for the ticket is $200.00, which is way off. Anyway, I picked-up several at 40.00 a pop. I think they
    are cool !!

If you look at the pop report, for some reason there are hundreds of Ripken PSA 10's. Most 3000 hit tickets only have a handful. I monitored this situation a couple years ago, and it looks to me like someone submitted 200 at one time a couple years back. There was a seller on ebay who was selling these consistently. It was probably him.

To answer, a previous question, yes it is difficult to find PSA 10 tickets....except for this Ripken.
