How do Charlton and Haxby compare?

I don't know. I don't own a Haxby. I usually use the Canadian Coin News Trends for value.

I only have Charlton. I've never heard of Haxby. Then again, I don't actively collect Canadian coins. Canadian coins are on my to-do list...

My local B&M dealer swears by Haxby, but that's probably because it has higher pricing than Charlton. I've only used Charlton over the past few years, although I have a Haxby guide from the 1960s.
