Though it was sort of exciting to watch the competition part of it, you have to ask yourself what the hell is this country coming to when we have overeating contests and other countries are starving image

How many flushes do you think it will take Chestnut tomorrow morning if he makes it that far?

To me, that was amazing to watch.
My wife was ewwwing, and I was laughing.
If that was me, I'd be throwing up after 15 dogs.

    15? You da man!

I would've puked after putting a water-soaked bun in my mouth!
  • I like how they were comparing Joey Chestnut to Ali, Tiger Woods, etc... image

So does that mean Joey Chestnut will be in A&G to years in a row?

I don't know ... Ruth, Mantle, Jordan, Bryant, Woods, Nicklaus, Ali, Foreman, ... Chestnut image

    Did you know?

July is National Hot Dog Month

An average American eats 60 hot dogs a year (Chestnut and Kobayashi just ate theirs in 10 minutes!)

In 1893, hot dogs became the standard cuisine for baseball games.

Who really created the first hot dog? Although the city of Frankfurt, Germany credits itself for the origin of the first frankfurter in 1852, some argue that Johann Georghehner, a butcher from Coburg, Germany created the first frankfurter in the 1600s.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Paper champion, Needs to have Kobayashi to know who is the real champion.

Then the ball is in Kobayashi's court. He refused to sign the MLE contract so he is banned from Nathan's. That would be an awesome match though.

Chestnut beat him the last 3 times. Kobayashi is nothing but a minor-league gurgitator these days. He'll never win the coveted mustard belt again, unless Chestnut has lap-band surgery!
