Now that I lost Capps to an extended trip to the DL, I need a
closer. In my league, the best available appear to be Saloman
Torres and Brandon Morrow. Who would you take, and why?

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started

I play in an 11 team league and those guys wouldn't last 5 seconds, grab em both, although Morrow is sick, he is insanely good (better than Putz IMO). Gagne has no confidence, I think he's done, so Torres should close all year, although he's had many one hit, one walk 9th innings (that he escapes from though).
I had Capps as well so I went and signed both Marte and Sanchez last night, hoping one of them sticks as closer.
Good luck, but if you can fit them both, grab them both!

i like Torres because i think the brewers will win more then the other guys, in turn giving him more opportunties

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
Morrow is crazy good, but again, Putz could push him. Torres could probably blow his next 3 saves and still have the job. Good luck with your choice.
