SET REGISTRY SPECIAL question

I have a 1990 score update set with emmitt smith rookie not open if I wanted to send in the whole set to get graded it would cost me $1,540? if so what is a cheaper way to get them graded? thanks for any help.

    you might want to open it... what if the whole set is off cut (OC). You would be out the grading fees for the whole set!

    Since there's only 110 cards in the set, that looks like the best price you'll find .... assuming you're talking about PSA etc.

    I agree that you should open the box just to get an idea on centering etc., especially the Emmitt card!

    A few 10s, including the Emmitt, would definitely be worth the money!

    Why would he open the box to see what condition the cards are in? PSA can tell him that.

    why pay PSA to tell him that his cards are OC (if any are)

    he might want to save a few bucks if he's not interested in OC cards.

    thinking that he's probably looking for 9s and 10s.

    only 300+, of the Emmitt's, out of 6000+, are 10s in the PSA pop.
