So you open your brand spanking new 2008 proof set to find Lincoln in trouble.

What is this a milk spot? The mark of an assasin's bullet? Should I contact the casino that bought the cheese sandwich with the holy image? See: Wiki

Anybody else ever receive coins from the mint this way?

    Yikes.

Now that is what the Mint's return policy is for, not for re-packs of MS 68 coins that did not "69" or "70".

It's hard to see how the Quality Assurance Dept. could have missed that one. I'm assuming that the Mint has a QA Dept.

That's definitely an unwelcome sight when opening a sealed mint set. I would contact them to get an exchange.

Exactly, which is why I worry when people abuse the policy for the grade game, instead of just for quality issues like this.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • Looks alot better than Van Buren Presidental dollar I received this year.
