Probably when many thought he had a chance of beating TED WILLIAMS avg...that's what started the craze.
I didn't have any desert storms at the time, but had a couple tiffanys, and even bought and sold one during the craze.
Prices have settled down somewhat but prices are still more than double what they were a year ago.
