First non-baseball item?

I just placed a bid on a very cool political item currently on Mastronet. I have *no* idea what it's worth, so I tossed in the opening bid. I'm not willing to pay much more than that, but I think it's pretty cool and could well be the start of a political ephemera collection.

1900 McKinley and Bryan Embossed Portrait Campaign Condiment Jars

Here's what Mastro has to say about them:

The American electorate could set the table in style, with this pair of condiment jars produced for the 1900 presidential election. Two clear-glass lidded jars are offered, and each bears the embossed portrait likeness of one of that year's candidates. Incumbent President William McKinley represents the Republican Party, and William Jennings Bryan is the Democrat. The images are top-captioned with each side's key slogan, McKinley's "Protection and Prosperity," and Bryan's "The Peoples Money." These delicately-styled containers are 3-1/2"-tall, and the placement of the lids add about 1-1/2" to each of their profiles. The very ornate cut-glass artifacts pique the imagination. Did the political preference of the homemaker subliminally dictate these jars' contents? Did the luscious honey reside behind McKinley's portrait, in the household that endorsed the gold standard, while Bryan winced at his unpalatable beakerful of rhubarb jelly? The election came and went (with McKinley keeping his office), but these extremely pretty and unusual jars have retained their luster and appeal. These are almost never seen with proper lids, which were lost or broken in the vast majority of cases, but those components of this pair are present and in perfect order. These impressive and heavy (over 11-ounce) jars display crisp Near Mint to Mint condition.
