Ok everyone, let's hear some opinions of the most desirable color (other than red or brown) to find on toned copper. Personally, I really like yellows and purples. What about you?

Puce is a color that is defined as ranging from reddish-brown to purplish-brown, with the latter being the more widely-accepted definition found in reputable sources. It can be used as either a noun (the name of the color) or as an adjective (something having that color).
Copper. I prefer copper coinage with original copper color surfaces.

I agree. This classic example of "1957 mint set toning" does it for me.
Of course, if I saw a chain cent with these colors, I might be a little worried.

Cant go wrong with a glossy and lustrous chocolate brown either.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear
The combination of yellows and purple/magenta this 1909 vdb MS66RB reverse, with some green on the right wheatie (much more prominent in person) is another favorite:
What really makes the color something special is when it's combined with full mint bloom luster...that's when it really makes you go
and especially this.........
