Congratulations on acquiring the final coin to complete the set. It appears that your set will be #1 for a very long time. And deservedly so! This Forum knows how much effort it took to build this remarkable set. The passion you possess for the hobby, is equally remarkable, and duplicated by very few collectors. Way to go, Doug!
Doug, I want to add my congratulations on completing the COMPLETE set of Lincoln cent proofs. It is an amazing accomplishment but even more so in the quality of the coins you have acquired. It would be something special to see your proofs side by side with Stewart's someday. THAT would surely make an awsome display. Steve
Not much to say, as the collection having ben completed does all the real talking. But congratulations on your passion and dedication to our hobby. It is infectious. Photos would be awesome, if you have them available. Imagine people being able to actually see what amounts to a museum-level collection from their own homes!
Besides that, though, I think you're going to be on top for a long time.
Thanks all. I do need to work on imaging all of the coins. 1936 to date proofs have been aggravating to photograph for me, and I have given up several times. Maybe it is time to try again. I'm not super happy with my MPL photos, so I need to work on those as well.
I got robbed on that 68-s DDO. I'm going to resubmit it at some point, along with some other 68-s DDO's that I have raw. I've been collecting proof varieties for 5-6 years and have all of the known varieties too that are not FS ones. One is a 1937 DD, and it is the only DD for the 1936-1942 era that I'm aware of.

What can anyone say - that is truly an amazing accomplishment - the scope
of your set has almost left me breathless.
Congratulations on locating your last Proof coin - and a 1971 DDO - to boot.
