Best bang for the buck

I haven't collected cards in about 15 years. I've got the itch again to collect. I recently opened a 86 topps F.B and pulled a Jerry Rice. I would like to buy and open some more packs but I don't know what is the best for the money. What brand/year gives you the best bang for the buck. I collect Baseball, football, and basketball. I am interested in collecting anything from 1975-present.
Thanks
