Question Re 1959 Topps Warren Spahn "Born In 1931" ...

This auction for a 1959 Topps Warren Spahn PSA 7 "Born In 1931" sold for $444.00. SMR on a "regular" PSA 7 is all of ... $60.00. According to Baseball Reference, Spahn was born in 1921, so guess this is an error card. Is this card that rare to warrant the huge premium? Just curious.

Higher than typical price for this rarity -- but this is definitely a $250+ type card. Very seldomly seen in near mint or better grade.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

A couple of things to consider:

    1) the POPs for all 3 variations are extremely similar... which is ODD!

    2) a PSA 8 on June 26th sold for less.

    3) Power of the PSA Registry!

Someone should PM mariner Don. He's the most knowledgable guy about the '59 set.
