    Thailand. Rama V (1868-1910). Silver Medal 1897. (By Auguste Patey). 65.48 g, 51.mm. Commemorating the King's first tour in Europe. Obverse: Uniformed bust to right. Reverse: Inscription: "To commemorate the Royal Tour of Europe from April 7 to December 16, Rattanakosin Era 30 116". On the edge: MONNAIE DE PARIS.ARGENT

    Wow!! I have no idea that this medal is so valuable. In XF estimated price is $5,000 to $6,000.

    I wonder what the other medal is worth. It looks like it is gold. Hope someone can identify this.

    Can these be certified? If so, who can?

    The face is very similar, so the gold medal may also be a product of the French Mint.

    They have no database of medal production on their website, but perhaps if you contact them they will be able to identify it for you.
