Seduced once again!

It seemed easy. Focus on Conder tokens and George III medals. Then young Queen Victoria caught my eye
and I was hooked. I picked up Volume II of Brown's British Historical Medals but felt only slightly diverted.

Now this George II medal comes along. George II was even scarier than his son but the artwork on this and other
early medals knocks me out! I better find a good reference for these earlier medals too. Oh well.

That would be "Medallic Illustrations of The History of Great Britian and Ireland" by the British Museum Dept of coins and medals. Rather fomatable Vols. Spinks put out a print in 1969 if you can find themimage
