What do you think is holding this card back from a higher grade?

    My guess would be stains and/or possible tear on the left rear of the card, from a submitter who did not want a Qualifier. Add to that, possible enhancement with the photo, but seems minor. Still a very attractive card of the Mick, imo

    Looks quite nice for the grade - whatever the problem is.

    possibly 2 creases in the card.
    1 below the ny yankees in front
    2 along line of mantles ht wt
    but real nice card...wish I had a 53 mantle

    SEMI HEAVY creasing in the red... hard to see in the scan seen thru the front and back..
    centering gave it the .5 bump

    stains and centering no worse than this 4, i guess creasing makes the most sense...i just didn't see it it's on ebay now...
