  • That is a shame, however I do not understand this sniper business. Can't you just enter your max bid and just hope for the best? I don't see how sniping has a better effect.

Snipes will save you $$ in the long run.

If your only bid is with 5 seconds left (a programed snipe), there is no way someone can chip away at your proxy.

As a seller and buyer I love snipers.

How many times did I have an item stagnate at an opening bid get 2 or more bids
with 10 or less seconds to go.

It depends on what you are selling.

Many times my snipe bid is what i would have bid at my max.

Yes many times I got the item for less then I was willing to go.

As a seller ...........Every bid counts!

    Good for you.
