Three more than two weeks ago (29). The up coming auctions continue to provide a full range of dates and grades. Pay closes attention to closing auction times as they have changed in many cases by at least one day. The BIG one closes today – 6/25(1909 VDB) Just in time for someone to maybe take a #1 spot in one of many other proof registries that Stewart Blay is not already # 1. Congratulations to him for taking the # 1 Matte Proof 1909- 1916 spot for 7 years in a row.

Although I see how you may have concluded that 1903 nickel is REALLY a 1909VDB Matte proof Lincoln, I'm not yet ready to assume we will have TWO VDB MPL's in the ANA auction. We should know soon.
