Post the absoulte LAZIEST autographs you can find (cards or memorbilia)

I remember seeing a few times people complaining about how lazy some athletes are getting with their John Hanc-cks. I think I recall one where the signature looked like a checkmark and another that was maybe one slightly squiggly line.

Maybe those on here who collect those autographed insert cards can post some examples.

The worst auto I picked up lately was the 2008 Topps Ronny Paulino series 2 insert auto. I looked through ebay and every single auto for this card was horrible. I wish these card companies would get some quality control and stop using these autos when they know it is not their real signature.

I'm sure most of these examples we're seeing are the result of the player just going really fast and signing a giant stack of cards. The autographs I think are the best are the ones on the Bowman cards. Those facsimile autos are the actual signatures from the players that are on their Topps contracts. So when there's a bad one on there, it's a pretty good indication that the guy just can't write very well.

I remember a particular favorite of mine was the 1999 Bowman Jesus Cordero.

That checkmark is brutal, I wonder when we'll see someone using just a X

I don't get these guys; they devote many years of hard work, dedication, and practice to make into the big leagues, yet show no dedication whatsoever to their John Hanc-ck. I mean, imagine how our Declaration of Independence would've looked if our Founding Fathers signed it with just X's and checkmarks and so on. image

Hell back when most of us were kids we practiced penemnship in school. I don't believe they do that in schools anymore, at least not here in the People's Republic of Massachusetts. It's more important to pass tome stupid standard test that to have the kids learn.

What I find funny is usually Press Pass is the first to have rookies sign cards. That is more than likely the last time the last time they sign a decent autograph and might even add a jersey number or "Go Irish" or where ever the heck they came from.
