<< <i>Am I the only person who thinks giving a qualifier to a GEM MINT card is absurd?!?!?! >>
No. I think most on this board would agree with you. I know I do.
The most OC PSA 10 I recall was years ago and it was a 1961 Topps Don Demeter and I remember it being worse than 95/5 left to right. This was at the Atlanta National and I remember discussing it with Steve Rocchi who eventually sent Lyle to the table and PSA bought it and probably took it out of circulation.
Clear Skies,
Mark
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Probably not the most egregious example ever, but still questionable I'd say.
Remember ... it's all subjective.
This might not be the worst centered 10, but it ain't pretty and I ain't happy for spending an extra $250 on the grade. The seller had a small scan where you couldn't really tell the centering. I didn't figure it'd be this bad. Shame on me for assuming. Ugh
A PSA Gem Mint 10 card is a virtually perfect card. Attributes include four perfectly sharp corners, sharp focus and full original gloss. A PSA Gem Mint 10 card must be free of staining of any kind, but an allowance may be made for a slight printing imperfection, if it doesn't impair the overall appeal of the card. The image must be centered on the card within a tolerance not to exceed approximately 55/45 to 60/40 percent on the front, and 75/25 percent on the reverse.
With that in mind, what is the percentage of the Braun, for example?
