I have an opportunity to flip this card, I was thinking of purchasing it and flipping it for a small profit
Any idea what this card would fetch on the Bay?

the auto has not been authenticated. Just the card has been slabbed authentic.
I would assume it would have to pass psa/dna for you to make money

    I blew it up.

I do NOT love the signature.

PSA should likely rethink using the word "authentic" when slabbing a
marked/damaged card, IF the "mark" is purported to be a "signature."

I would NOT buy the card, w/o at least a PSA/DNA Quick-Opinion; even
    then, I dunno.

Some good reference material on ballpoint ink.

BPs are often used to make folks think a signature
was issued contemporaneously with a card's circa.

IF the auto was psa/dna then I'd say it goes for $550 range
  • Thanks guys, your right as usual
Seller (not on e-bay) is asking almost $1000 for it, and without the PSA/DNA, then I would always worry about it NOT being a legit auto
and it would never pull in any money to make a profit.

    I will pass on it
    Thanks again

IF somebody goes to the trouble of sending such a card to PSA,
why would they NOT ask PSA/DNA to take a look at the signature?

I suspect I know the answer.

It is VERY common to ask for a PSA/DNA authentication, WITHOUT
asking PSA to grade the card. A 4/5/6 grade on a card with a nice
signature is devalued by the card-grade. Not so common, however,
to ask for a card to be authd by PSA, w/o asking PSA/DNA to take a
    shot at the "signature."

The more I think about it, the word "authentic" on some such slabs is
VERY likely to facilitate fraud. PSA should consider going with 1s, or
low-grades with the appropriate qualifier; ie: MK.

The word "authentic" on such slabs means something totally different
to us than it does to a newbie auto-hound or a gift buyer.

    Dangerous.
