Antique Roadshow PBS -- 1958 football cello

Just watched a woman show a handful of 1958 cello football packs.
The appraiser asked how many she had at home. She said 312!
The appraiser said they were worth $500 - $1,000 each.

How many Jim Brown RC would be in those packs?
132 card set. 312 Packs...12 cards/pack.
3744 cards total. Possibly 28 Jim Brown RC in high grade.
Assuming 50% of the cards were gradeable, would 1800 new cards in a set affect the market?

You'd also have to assume that the new owner(s) would have the cajones to bust the packs, though. There's at least an even chance that these packs will remain sealed, IMO. Many hardcore unopened collectors would never consider busting packs like these.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
