I think something happend to one of my ebay buyers....

This is totally weird. Today, for the second time, I received back an item that someone bought from me first part of May. I looked at their feedback and people buying from him aren't getting their items and all this happend around the time he bought from me. When he bought from me he had 100% feedback. Now he has 91.9%. His account is still active, but this guy won't get in touch with me.
The total for the 2 items he bought from me is around $45. Not sure what I should do. He won't contact me and I'm not paying to have these items shipped again. How long before he's ineligible for a refund? I mean, I'll gladly refund him his money. It's just really weird. His address isn't confirmed or anything. Weird.

You never know. I sold a 1930's fishing lure to a guy and a few weeks later I received an email from a family member saying their father died and they wanted to make sure all his items were paid for. Hopefuly something bad didn't happen to your buyer.
I wouldn't give a refund yet, but hold onto the item until he contacts you. And document your efforts incase the buyer reports you or does a chargeback.

    Good luck.

Just hold the item for him, until he contacts you.

This is a moral issue that each individual would have to decide for themselves. Personally, I would refund his money minus any fees you incurred. It's clear he's in no position to accept the cards, so essentially you'd be giving him the benefit of the doubt by letting him back out of the ebay "contract".

See, that's what I'd like to do, but I think for right now I'm going to hold on to the cards. If I don't hear from him in a week or two, I'll refund his money minus the fee's that I had to pay. I'll just wait it out for the moment.
    Still a weird situation.
  • You may want to re-check his address, remember the mid-west is under water right now.

If that is the case then he must be in Jail.
