FSH: 1814 E/A O-108a CBH PCGS VF35.......TOUGH VARIETY in PCGS.......ON HOLD
Misattributed by PCGS as a normal 1814, this 1814 E/A is a beautiful coin, lightly toned with darker gold at the periphery on both obverse and reverse. Multiple obverse clash marks. Nicely struck on the obverse with respect to hair and star detail. Reverse left wing and eagle's head weakly struck as is typically found on this variety. E/A clearly seen. Pop reports shows ONLY 32 graded by PCGS in ALL grades!!

Nice original coin with choice surfaces for the grade. Has darker gray toning (seen better on pics of coin in slab) on both sides and a decent strike for this variety. No distractions on either side. Overdate clearly seen.

FSH: 1836/1336 O-108 CBH PCGS XF40.............Nice, choice and ORIGINAL, SCARCE Overdate!!!
Very Nice, TOTALLY ORIGINAL and choice for the grade. This CBH has traces of luster with beautiful crusty deep gray toning mixed with blue highlights seen on both sides (not well seen in pics). Nicely struck for an 1836 with all stars fully detailed. This is a SCARCE overdate according to Edgar Souders with an estimate of 650-800 existing today. PCGS does not recognize the 1836/1336 as a major variety and as such labeled it as a normal 1836 Lettered Edge, however, the ball from the underlying 3 shows clearly in the lower loop inner field of the 8. BTW, the mark seen in front of the nose on pic of coin in slab is grossly exaggerated by reflection of flash on the coin's surface.

FSH: 1825 O-112 Capped Bust Half Dollar PCGS AU-50
This coin has a nice strike for the date with beautiful golden toning on both sides and pretty blue highlights on the reverse at the periphery. There is plenty of luster as can be seen in the pics, which together with the nice toning gives it overall very nice eye appeal.
