    Interesting coin Wayne! Thats a design I have not seen before. I think I like the off-centered nature of the reverse design, even though it is a bit disturbing. Not something you see very often on coins.

    That's a pretty coin, and yours is in nice shape. Those are really hard to find in mint state, especially the 400 reis.

    Some of the coin had lint on it but in general.......thats what it looks like

    All three coins of that type -- the 100, 200 and 400 reis -- saw heavy circulation and apparently weren't saved in any quantities.

    Mine is an NGC MS63, a very lucky find in a bulk lot of old dealer's stock that I submitted for grading. I'll see if I can post a picture.
