With apologies for being slightly OT... I blogged a few times this week about my favorite college (future pro) basketball player Russell Westbrook out of UCLA. This morning I dropped a post regarding my own game last night. For you old guys that still run and down the court sometimes I thought you might enjoy:

As a 48 year old Joe Thornton wannabe I play low level adult ice hockey one night a week and on the rare occasion I am able to stickhandle through the D and roof one over the goalie's shoulder I know exactly how that cut down the lane with the left hand finish feels like.

Nice post Larry, I work out at a local college and have to chase kids 15 years younger. Usually I try to guard a big man in the post but sometimes i get some kid who is like Reggie Miller off the ball and runs me ragged. Back hurts, pain starting to shoot down legs. I never though I would have to buy medical products Nolan Ryan does commericals for. 36 going on 16 here.
