Nice pick up! Is that a 1 OZ silver round? I have a couple of the USS Constitution that has article 1 section 10 of the US constitution on the reverse... I really don't collect ships but I seem to have managed to acquire a few pieces here and there.

My German coin habit and train purchases have managed to keep me so impoverished as to stay off the main seafaring market lanes pursuing ships.

Got any trains to trade for ships?

Nice medal Wayne. There are some extrordinary ship medals out there, usually for less than a coin and rarer.

Bought one recently I really like. I did not pay attention to the size in the auction but it is HUGE. I have posted a pic of it on here before

This is a bronze medal.

The sellers photo doesn't show that....in my opinion anyway.
